About

Every morning for seven years, at 6:45 AM, I sat in my school bus and stared at this sugar-maple until my first passenger arrived. It always looked skeptical to me.

This blog is devoted to exploring an idea proposed by Bucky Fuller, among others, that a paradigm can’t be changed by resistance, but only made stronger; to bring about substantive change, it is necessary to create a new paradigm.

The author believes that it is even less effective to resist a paradigm that is no longer in effect, and this explains why the world is going in a direction nobody wants to go.

The Information Age is not over, but it is no longer dominant. Information no longer informs: it is bought and sold only for shock value in the new paradigm of Attention.
